UCL Centre for Humanities Interdisciplinary Research Projects (CHIRP)

Under the leadership of its newly-appointed Director, Professor Lisa Jardine, and Deputy Director, Professor Maria Wyke, CHIRP will become a hub for the interdisciplinary research activities of the Faculties of Arts and Humanities and Social and Historical Sciences, and the School of Slavonic and Eastern European Studies.

Its mission is to support existing and future interdisciplinary centres, research groups and individual researchers based within Arts and Humanities, History and Social Sciences and Slavonic and Eastern European Studies, and to amplify the reputation of these distinguished areas of UCL research activity as widely as possible, both across other Faculties of UCL and among outside institutions.

A dedicated website will go live later in the academic year, including details on the appointment of Early Career Researchers. In the meantime, we welcome questions about the Centre and suggestions for research and public engagement activities.
